Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge 2022

Welcome to the online course for the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge 2021, a part of MIT Beaver Works Summer Institute. This online course is one of the prerequisites to apply for the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge 2021 in the summer. In the 4-week summer course, students will learn how to program an underwater vehicle to autonomously navigate an obstacle course using lighted buoys as navigational aids. The  online curriculum presented here is designed to prepare students for the 4-week summer course. It will contain most of the foundational concepts that will be built upon later on. In addition to the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge online course, students must complete the Python Core course, linked below. It is recommended you follow the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge course, which will have specific sections notifying you when to start the auxiliary courses. Important Note: The Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge program requires that you complete both of the following online courses before we can consider your application for the summer: Python Core and Version Control
