Benjamin Marcotte

Ben Marcotte is an Associate Staff Engineer at Lincoln Laboratory from the Airborne Radar Systems and Techniques group and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. The majority of Ben’s career has been spent running experimental Airborne Radar Testbeds which have utilized many aircraft, sensors, and imaging techniques. During his time at Lincoln Labs he has flown on over 100 mission flights across the country performing various data collections to enhance the nation’s sensing capabilities. When he is not flying around Ben is an avid skier, sailor, and Boston sports fan. Ben has been the lead instructor of the UAS-SAR course since 2022 and is looking forward to year three. He is always amazed by what his students are able to accomplished and can’t wait to see what they will do this year.
