Guillermo Vincentelli

Guillermo Vincentelli is an embedded security research engineer at MITRE, who’s work focuses on researching defense strategies to mitigate the capabilities/effects of hardware vulnerabilities. Guillermo studied Robotics Engineering and Pre-Med at WPI, and prior to joining MITRE, has worked in a number of different fields, including machining, rapid prototyping, robotics, smart product integration, and high temperature material science/ceramics engineering. Guillermo is passionate about STEM, and strives to cultivate the same joy and curiosity for STEM that he says “MythBusters did for me”.  For fun, Guillermo enjoys playing guitar, does competitive ballroom dancing, makes/hacks electronics, and runs scientific experiments at home.
