Chris Lai

Chris Lai is an assistant staff engineer at Lincoln Laboratory from the Advanced Capabilities and Systems group and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona. Throughout his career, he has worked on numerous projects spanning autonomous robotics, aerial vehicles, computer vision, and control systems. His work on reconfiguring power systems on unmanned aerial vehicles has led to two publications in a renowned journal. Aside from projects, Chris has spent many hours developing free and accessible STEM curricula for hundreds of students, with much of the work currently centered around the BWSI Autonomous RACECAR course. In his free time, Chris enjoys building small robots, making music, and playing rhythm games.
